Dirty and Dusty-

According to Dr. Jamal Bryant he argues one day, “They are people who are successful but insignificant, they are people who are wealth but worth nothing. “

In genesis 2:7, God formed man out of the dust of the earth however prior to the formation of man, the picturesque imagery and scenery of the earth was that of a desert because when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth.

Hence the ground of the earth was dirty and dusty by the time God rolled his sleeves to form man out of the dust.

 

Genesis 2:7 & Luke 24

The earth was dusty and dirty but neither of the two hindered God from rising man out of the dust of the earth. Man is symbolic to the glory of God on the highest level because he expressly represents the image of God.

However the irony is embedded in the fact that the highest degree of God’s tangible and visible glory was raised from that which was dirty and dusty.

When people play dirty against you and walk away from you for dead leaving you down casted and low0down all feeling like dust that is worthless then you going to have a problem trusting people again.

You are afraid to show up in public spaces because now you feel insignificant and worthless despite your track record of remarkable success and the wealth that is written to your name.

It’s a critical moment now because you look at a people who are not as successful as you and not as wealthy as you walking around significantly and worthwhile and you wonder why?

They are walking significantly and worthwhile because they have not been through nothing dirty and dusty.

In Luke 4, Jesus is full of the holy spirit and he is led into the wilderness or the desert –a place void of habitation and for forty days and nights he is eating nothing and because he is  in a desert, he is dusty and dirty by now.

It’s easy to think that Jesus is insignificant and worthless until you realize that the hand of God is rested upon his life and that he is dusty and dirty just

And when the moment is over, he will walk out of the desert in power and glory, submitting every thing under his feet.

When God puts his hand in the earth which was dirty and dusty, he was able to lift up man out of the dirt and the dust to a degree of glory higher than all other things created by He-God.

My dear friends it may be that by this time you are all by yourself with nobody to cheer you and to give you encouragement.

 The people you helped have forsaken you all by yourself; you feel so down and low.

Your life is at a dirty and dusty place but yet still you are not insignificant and worthless because the hand of God is on your life.

So as to make your life into a marvelous image, symbolic, and an example that is only and can only be likened unto the power, and the glory of God Almighty.

And when God is done with you then he will lift you up from your dirty and dusty experience so that you can look more wondrous and more beautiful than your contemporaries.

The Anointing of the Holy Spirit is rested upon you. Luke Chapter 4

Luke Chapter 4

What really and fundamentally embody a real man are not houses, cars, and fancy clothes. What makes a man is the word of God operating in the inner recesses of the man’s being.

In the book of genesis God spoke everything into existence except the man, because when it came to the creation of man, God summoned a summit whose gathering was an embodiment of God the head, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.

And when it was finally time for God to form mankind, God rolled his sleeves and formed man from the dust of the earth.

Its critical piece right here because God spoke everything without getting his hands dirty but when it came to the creation of mankind he took time to think about the destiny and the purpose of the man that he was going to create.

Furthermore, when it was time to form the man God worked with his hands after thinking with his head.

Its here and now that I would like to invite you to the consideration that your next assignment in God is one that will challenge you to think out of the box and to get your hands into something you thought you will never be able to engage into.

God is next to cleanliness but he had to come down to earth and pick me out of the dust so that I can reign and govern over all his other creations which he set in motion without necessarily getting his hand dirty.

They are people in this life and some of them are your contemporaries whom God raised up and they went through nothing.

They did not wait upon God to be where they are, as a matter of fact all they did was to dress-up in the finest of clothes and things happened for them.

All they did was to make a phone call and the Job was given to them, all they did was to post their picture on some dating site and some white man paid up for their next level but they did not have to go through nothing like a dirty experience.

Some people did you dirty and you did not even seek revenge because you understood that vengeance belongs to the Lord, but yet still when you looked over their lives, they were doing better than you.

But God says,’ I was in the dirty experience with you working with every dirt that you had to endure and then using your dirty experience to lift you high above the people whose existence above the dust was easy.

You will be lifted up and you will reign over and above because from genesis till the time of Jesus the anointing of the Holy Spirit was void of rest. It was void of rest because it had not found an appropriate place to rest.

It was void of rest because it had not found an appropriate place to rest, in genesis it argues that the spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water.

Water is pure but even though water was pure the spirit of God did not find rest upon it.

Simply because you are pure and all that doesn’t mean that the spirit of God is rested on you. God is looking to pour out his anointing on some one who has had a experience so that he can lift you up and eventually use you to lift up people from the dust of the earth.

Even though Adam came before Jesus, Adam was created out of the image of Jesus Christ who is the son of God, the express image of God.

And according to the gospel of the Nazarene it argues that during the event of John the Baptist’s baptism at the river Jordan-the Dove came upon Jesus symbolic of the anointing of the holy spirit and it sang” my son since the time of the prophets I have been waiting for thee, in order to rest and upon you my beloved son I will rest forever.”

Jesus Christ is the son of God who came in the flesh and walked among humankind, he came in the flesh and the flesh was formed out of the dust of the earth-meaning that the anointing of God rested upon the dust of the earth which played host to the son of God and whoever believes and calls upon his name, the name of Jesus-so is he in Jesus and Jesus is in him also.

In other wards, if you are in Jesus then the anointing of the Holy Spirit is rested on you; the evidence that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is rested upon you is in the trouble and suffering you face after doing the will of God Almighty.

In Luke 4:14, it argues that after the anointing of the Holy Spirit had fully rested on Jesus, it led him in the wilderness where he was tempted by the devil.

Hence if you do not wan to encounter any trouble from the devil and any opposition from the world just simply do not obey the Holy Spirit.

But if you going to allow yourself to obey the spirit of God then trouble will confront you and opposition will come your way. There will be opposition because opposition is evidence that you have power.

There is no power without opposition, and all that power has to in order to overcome opposition is to stand its ground.

For Jesus to over come the devil in the wilderness he had to stand his ground as the scriptures and the words of God directed.

Many times you don’t need to respond to your opposition, all you have to do is to stand your ground and eventually the devil will flee from you.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is rested on your life because God Almighty as a particular and a specific assignment for your life whose achievement and accomplish comes by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So whatever is trying to stop you and to distract you from accomplishing the assignment of God for your life will not win because the anointing of the Holy Spirit is resting on your life more powerful than your opposition.

Whatever is trying to separate you from the will and the pla of God for your life will not be able to succeed because the power of God Almighty is fighting and working for you to se to it that you succeed above your adversary.

After standing your ground as it relates to the directives of God in the face of suffering temptation from the devil after having followed the anointing of the Holy Spirit –the power of God will fundamentally become evident on your life to the extent that a testimony will be born out of your dirty experience, a testimony that will bring the whole world to a place of trembling before the Lord your God.

Entering Your Glory

Luke 24:13-26

Early Sunday morning, the same day Jesus resurrected from the dead , two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus seven miles from Jerusalem.

They walked seemingly wearily, tired, disappointed, heavy-heated, frustrated, angry and stressed.

And the reason why they were sad is because they passionately followed Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem under the motivation that he was going to rescue Israel from the tyrant hands of the Romans.

They followed Jesus with admirable passion to the extent they abandoned their careers, the comfort of their homes, family, friends, relatives and their skill sets.

  

They were no doubt in their hearts that Jesus was going to rescue Israel and that they were going to be direct benefactors in this rescue.

They understood that together with Jesus their names were to go down in Israel’s books of history, and that their personalities were to forever remain towering figures through out the annals of history.

The aforementioned prospects indeed and in fact become promise and dreams embedded and deeply rooted in Jesus.

However there was a paradigm shift the moment Jesus arrived in Jerusalem.

He was arrested, crucified and he died.

When he died it so seems that the followers of Jesus most especially the two followers who were walking to the village of Emmaus seven miles from Jerusalem were enormously crest-fallen.

They were bitterly disappointed and frustrated to the extent that they even considered the promise and the dream plus the hope of glory they held in Jesus for themselves dead and buried along with Jesus.

As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened and amidst their exchange they probably and without a doubt considered their following Jesus as an effort in vain, They contemplated following Jesus as the greatest mistake of their lives.

Because now they were seven miles away from Jerusalem having forsaken all for Jesus’ sake and it seems as if everything they hoped to accomplish with Jesus has died with Jesus.

They are trying to plan their next move and they do not know where to begin, because suddenly everything is strange and foreign, they cant go back to Galilee just as of yet because of the shame of facing the people in Galilee who will forthrightly remind them that they followed a fraud and a venture that was unrealistic.

They murmur between themselves that may be they should have stayed back in Galilee and not follow Jesus to Jerusalem even though his show of the power of God was so hard to resist.

May be you are like these two followers of Jesus in this season of your life, you sought God, he appeared unto you, and he promised you his glory if you shall keep the faith.

But suddenly it seems as if your hope and promises in God is dead and you do not see it coming to pass because you have been betrayed by the same people with whom you shared your love with.

 You are tired, puzzled, confused, and frustrated and contemplating walking away from God.

 But hold on….hold on and realize that Jesus is called the Christ-meaning the anointed one and he argues in Luke 24-26”wasn’t  it clearly predicted that the messiah(anointed one) would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?”

Consequently the reason why you suffering from heart aches, disappointments, and frustrations after having followed the instructions of God in the name of Jesus is because you are being ushered into your place of glory as prepared for you by the Lord God before the foundation of the heavens and the earth.

Before you landed on the earth, God prepared for you a special place of Glory, and in order for you to enter this glory you have to suffer these things: betrayal, rejection, disappointments, frustrations, and heart aches.

  

And the aforementioned things are divinely orchestrated to usher you into your place of glory. Jesus was ushered into his place of Glory by the pain of crucifixion and death.

 My friends you are anointed and the evidence is in the injustices that you are dealing with after obeying the spirit of God.

But the pain is only working for your good because every now and then you feel some air of disappointment after obeying God its only but a sign that you entering your glory.

Every one who has gone past you while you were obeying God, God will see to it that you go past them seven miles further.

Whatever you have lost in your obedience to God, God will see to it that you recover back seven times better in the mighty name of Jesus.

Emmaus represents failure, defeat, disappointment, sadness, and frustration but Jerusalem represents glory hence it took a revelation for the two followers of Jesus to leave Emmaus back to Jerusalem.

The scripture stipulates that while the two disciples were nearing Emmaus and the end of their journey, Jesus began to slowly reveal himself to them.

 Conversely Jesus will not let nor allow your life to end in shame, disappointment, defeat, heart aches, and frustration but he will see to it that you end up in victory, glory and honor. 

Even if you decide to go in the direction of shame and defeat, he will still find you and alter your course back to the highway of victory, glory, and honor.

You Will Pass This Test

By now and by this time, it seems that the devil has galvanized all his forces against you.

He is determined to wipe the living day lights out of you.

He has in fact gained incredible momentum and significant ground against your life, destiny, and purpose.

And you are growing weak by the moment because there is too much hell around you to the extent that you do not see nothing good happening to you.

You are thinking and asking yourself at the same time, “How in this world is this situation going to get better”.

Everybody seems to be going forward, prospering and doing well for themselves except you.

You not stressed and depressed because you wonder why the people who have the least earmarks of greatness are doing better than you.

They are thriving in their way when they do not have a record of waiting upon the good lord like you have waited, fasted and given to the good cause of God Almighty

The truth of the matter is that you are in a test and in a challenge is now a question designed by God to prove on whether you are the one whom the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob said of,”He said of you even before you ever came upon the earth.

He said all nations shall call you blessed, and favored because of the great anointing of God that is rested upon your life.

He said of you that you are a soldier who goes to war with victory.

In other wards even before you started doing the test of your life, victory was already on your side.

So do not give up the fight because this fight is your opportunity for victory.

You is going to win and overcome.

You will pass the test because the teacher/God’s desire for the student is so that the student may pass the teat.

God will see to it that you win, so do not give up because you will pass this test

Naked

Genesis 1:26-27So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them: male and female he created them.

 Then God blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply.

Fill the earth and govern.

Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground, 

Genesis 2:25-Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.

The fundamental reason as to why God created the man and the woman by the virtue of his holy imagination and formed them by the sanctity of his holy hand is so that they can have reign over everything within the solid context of the universe.

Man was established upon the earth so that he can have ruler ship and leadership over everything.

However in order for this to be so man had to be under God, besides a woman and over every other creature of the earth.

And if anyone cares to notice man was created naked, he was naked walking and playing out his purpose and destiny around the field of the earth with no sensual perception of shame because his only covering was the instruction, commandment and faith in God.

And the word of God is fundamentally the blessed assurance of God to the man with whom he has called into his service and cause.

Assurance is better than insurance because assurance takes care of the internal things of life while insurance only caters for the temporal external things of life.

Its here and now that I would like to point out to everyone that is walking with God , by God, and in God that you have been called for universal leadership as a young man and woman after the fundamental will and passions of God the father.

But in order for you to have results like God would want you to have then its critical to appreciate that God requires you to be sensitive to what matters in terms and in relationship to the things that you regard as your most critical covering.

This is no time to be mindful of your physical appearance and outlook as a catalyst of speaking truth to the powers that be and declaring the will, the way, and the direction of God for this generation.

If there is anything to be mindful about then it should be the faith and the instruction of God over your life operating within your spirit man.

 God is looking for a group of young men and women who are not afraid to stand up with their naked self and declare his message to the universe.

The reason why things have been going out of your life is because God needs you to come to a level of appreciating that even when you have nothing and you have got no one in your space to rub their hands on your shoulders and to cheers for you, you can still worship and praise God, because just like Job you understand that” naked did I come into the world, naked will I depart.”

 Just like Jesus you understand that foxes have holes, the birds of the air have nests, but the son of man does not has a place to lay his head.

In fact Jesus was a naked universal leader and in fact if he ever had anything it belonged to one of his followers so we should all understand in this particular moment in time that if they are any worthwhile covering then it is the faith of God over your life.

 You may be naked now but you have no feelings of shame because there is too much glory of God on your life that even if I do not have a car, a house, a wife, money, and designer clothes you still able to dance for Jesus and obey the words of the holy spirit like you have everything you need.

You have confidence and total trust in God because your entire visual focus has been arrested by the presence of God.

To the extent that you have no business being mind full of where you are not and what you do not have, because as long as you have Jesus then he will take care of you.

At this juncture, God is appointing naked leaders to govern and reign over the affairs of the earth because if they can stand up without shame with their naked selves then they will be able to declare the word of God.

Unashamedly and lead the universe in the direction of God without shame.

God is rising up naked leaders who have nothing to hide; their flaws are visible as much as their perfections to the glory of God.

So that the whole world can know that the only way am able to praise him with shame his because my eyes on his presence and my mind is stayed up on Jesus all the time.
