After The Heart of God

1 Samuel 13-14

The forerunners of the greatest move of God  ever to penetrate the face of the earth are not only young , dark and handsome men and beautiful women but they are also those that are after the plan, desire, passion, and will of God upon the earth.

When the children of Israel demand for a king in the book of 1 Samuel, in demanding for a king in the same comparison like the kings of the like the kings of the other nations what they do not realize is that they have rejected the God who rescued them out of Egypt and out of trouble when they was no one to help them.

And when the children of Israel reject God he is neither  shocked nor surprised because before they rejected him they had already abandoned him for other gods and idols.

It’s a critical piece right here because often times than not we hang out with folk, we sleep with people, we share with people, we love on people, we sacrifice for people, we cheer for people, we help people, we celebrate people, we give our best to people, we give our trust to people who reject us in just a nick of time and we get disappointed and crushed.

Till we realize painfully that the reason why we have been denied and rejected by the people we loved is because their hearts were never with us but towards somewhere else.

You have been rejected by people who said they loved you only because they were compelled to convince you that they loved you so that they can get closer to the thing they were interested in which obviously not you but what they believed you can offer.

The intents of the heart are always but hidden everyone is ignorant about them except for God who knows how to examine the intentions of man’s hearts.

In choosing Saul as king over Israel God does not choose from his heart but he rather makes a choice who to be king of Israel in –line with the desires passions, and plan of the people.

In other wards Saul was not who  God wanted but he chooses him to be king of Israel because he found out that it was a man after the manner and make of Saul that the people desired as king.

Little wonder majority of Israel celebrated upon seeing Saul as their king for the first time.

However God rejected Saul as king after it came to bear that his desires and passions were far from the heart of God. 

And hence God sought out a man after his own heart.

My dear friends we live in the days of God’s appointed time for God’s appointed one’s and we operate in times when God is appointing men and women to be leaders who will usher the people of God into the canyons of God’s glory.

And the kind of leaders that God is appointing are those that are after his own heart, a unique and extraordinary bunch of people who do not seek after their own passions, will and desires in the earth.

But all their desiring is of God and God alone, all they are seeking after is the glory of God and they are not just seeking but they are also paying the price necessary to the effect.

When you compare David and Saul you will yet realize that the desperate is huge.

Saul comes from a wealthy family and David from a poor background. David spent most of his time with sheep but Saul spent most of his time with donkeys.

Donkeys are known for their outstanding foolishness while sheep are known for their outstanding meekness.

The aforementioned may not be so critical but the truth is that Saul is smart and neat and David‘s physical outlook is far from smart and neat.

Saul has a great physical appeal and David has less but none the less David has a heart of God.

In order for anyone to go after the heart of God it must begin with a conversation with God. A conversation with actually reveals the plan of God which eventually becomes the seeker’s own plan for life.

David is appointed of God because he can praise God for a plan that has not even takes place in the natural and worship God for the result of a plan that has not even surfaced upon the earth.

If you can praise and worship God when everything you have believed God for is flying off in the opposite direction then you better know that you have been appointed and anointed to believe and trust God for the miraculous and God will never fail to deliver.

God has appointed dark and handsome young men and beautiful women who will walk in his passion, will and plan even when it causes them to shed tears of pain, even when it puts them in a place where they find themselves all alone with no one to talk to because no one seems to understand what they are going through.

He has appointed men who will continue in his will even after experiencing several episodes of disappointment but they just keep on moving in the plan of God because they have believed that somehow 

God will make everything alright.

 God is appointing men and women who won’t be turned around by what they see and hear in the natural because they are after the heart of God and their hearing and seeing is more sensitive to the spirit of God that what goes on in the natural.

The sign that you have been appointed by God is when men keep on rejecting you because you have a different passion from the passion they hold.

They just want to have a conversation about girls and themselves yet you want to have a conversation with God and about God.

They do not seem to get you and understand you because your heart is after the heart of God

The Battle Belongs To God

1 Samuel 17:46

Every revelations that you receive in God every now and then that you going through a difficult mind confusing situation is designed by God to get you to your victory, deliverance, and breakthrough.

In 1 Samuel 17:46-47 Davis is up against Goliath and he argues to Goliath “Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head.

And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel, and everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people , but not with sword and spear.

This is the Lord’s battle and he will give you to us”

My dear friends I would like you to carefully consider that the reason why you going to win everything that are seemingly against you is because your battle, struggle is not yours but rather belongs to the Almighty God that you serve.

And if the Battle belongs to God then your victory will come because God has never lost a single battle. You have an upper-hand amidst the battle against your life because you have revelation from God.

The revelation of God that you have is working against your adversary and against that bad situation because it’s inside knowledge about your enemy helping you to best position yourself against his attack so that you can eventually overcome.

  

The devil knows scriptural but what he does not have is the revelation of the scripture because it takes the spirit of holiness to reveal the hidden meanings that are laid in the scripture.

The devil walks in darkness because he is void of the light of God.

This battle does not belong to you but to the Lord God you are only in it to witness first hand the power of God at work so that you can be in position to testify of the Lord’s goodness.

You are amidst the cross fire so that God can bring the world to a place of contemplation as it relates to how powerful he is.

David defeated Goliath with a pair of stones. Stones are symbolic to scriptural and revelation knowledge is light.

In the Stone Age in order to produce light two stone were rubbed together. Conversely you defeat the devil with the light of God from the revelation of God.

The weapons of our engagement are not carnal or physical but they are the revelation we receive from God. 

Henceforth because of the revelation that the battle of your life belongs to God, you will win and you will not be defeated because God never lost a battle.

My Blessing will Shock the world

1 Samuel 16:10-13

In order to reveal God has to create, consequently God does not reveal what he has not created.

By the time God commissions Prophet Samuel to go into the house of Jesses and anoint a new king unto Israel.

God had already chosen David as king only but he had not revealed him unto Prophet Samuel and unto Israel.

Indeed and in factit’s here and now that I would like to forthrightly reveal that the next person God is about to left-up into his divine glory comes from a dirty background and a dirty experience.

God is lifting a person who is dirty but their experience in the dust has not been able to stop them from praising and worshipping God.

 Many times than not when we praise God its only because of what he has done. And then we worship him for who he is.

However God is elevating someone from dirt to glory because they are not scared to praise God for what he has not done but he promised he will do. The seven sons of Jesse minus David line-up before Prophet Samuel in order to receive the blessing but none of them was chosen by God.

They were not chosen because God’s choice was not in-line to receive the blessing but they were in the field looking after sheep.

They were out of line, they were not even candidates for the blessing but they were chosen.

The next person that God is going to elevate into his glory is not even running after what God has got for him.

 The next blessing that you are about to receive from God will shock not only you but  the  entire canyons of the world because you have not only been running after it but none the less you will be blessed with God’s glory because you have been chosen for the glory of God Almighty, What God is about to give you is so big that it will blow your mind and make you forget all the pain and the tears that you cried when you were all by yourself, with nobody to comfort you and to tell you that everything is going to be alright.

You did not expect it but it is coming your way and it will without a doubt sweep you off the ground and from the dirty experience of your life.

The glory of God for your life will shock the entire world.

Its running your way and the reason why it will catch you is that you do not know how to run after it and it’stoo good to the extent that when it comes your way you will not want to run away from it because it’s too good to escape.

David was in the field praising and worshipping God while he looked after his father’s sheep, but because he had been chosen by God, he was called out of the field with dirt on his clothes to be blessed of God and to receive the glory of God.

The next person God is about to bless with his glory will not have to dress up for it, kiss up for it or act in a special way for it.

 Because whoever prepared to be blessed of God in the house of Jesse did not get the glory but the one who was unprepared for it received it because he was a praise and worshiper after the very heart of God.

Whose mouth would not be shut simply because he was going through a nasty, dirty experience to the magnitude that even his friends had walked away from him.

 The next person God is going to give his glory is the one who has nothing to hold unto except his praise and worshiping of God Almighty.

Because every time you worshiped God while in tears, he wiped the tears away by just one word of revelation and it made you feel alright even though everything was halter-skelter.

 You worshiped God even when everything was falling apart but he kept you together because you were chosen by God so as to receive a blessing that will shock the world.

Your dirty experience is only but evidence that you have been chosen by God  just like the image of God was chosen from the dirt of the ground to have you been chosen by virtue of your dirty experience which has only but made you a very intense worshiper of God.

Dirty and Dusty-

According to Dr. Jamal Bryant he argues one day, “They are people who are successful but insignificant, they are people who are wealth but worth nothing. “

In genesis 2:7, God formed man out of the dust of the earth however prior to the formation of man, the picturesque imagery and scenery of the earth was that of a desert because when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth.

Hence the ground of the earth was dirty and dusty by the time God rolled his sleeves to form man out of the dust.

 

Genesis 2:7 & Luke 24

The earth was dusty and dirty but neither of the two hindered God from rising man out of the dust of the earth. Man is symbolic to the glory of God on the highest level because he expressly represents the image of God.

However the irony is embedded in the fact that the highest degree of God’s tangible and visible glory was raised from that which was dirty and dusty.

When people play dirty against you and walk away from you for dead leaving you down casted and low0down all feeling like dust that is worthless then you going to have a problem trusting people again.

You are afraid to show up in public spaces because now you feel insignificant and worthless despite your track record of remarkable success and the wealth that is written to your name.

It’s a critical moment now because you look at a people who are not as successful as you and not as wealthy as you walking around significantly and worthwhile and you wonder why?

They are walking significantly and worthwhile because they have not been through nothing dirty and dusty.

In Luke 4, Jesus is full of the holy spirit and he is led into the wilderness or the desert –a place void of habitation and for forty days and nights he is eating nothing and because he is  in a desert, he is dusty and dirty by now.

It’s easy to think that Jesus is insignificant and worthless until you realize that the hand of God is rested upon his life and that he is dusty and dirty just

And when the moment is over, he will walk out of the desert in power and glory, submitting every thing under his feet.

When God puts his hand in the earth which was dirty and dusty, he was able to lift up man out of the dirt and the dust to a degree of glory higher than all other things created by He-God.

My dear friends it may be that by this time you are all by yourself with nobody to cheer you and to give you encouragement.

 The people you helped have forsaken you all by yourself; you feel so down and low.

Your life is at a dirty and dusty place but yet still you are not insignificant and worthless because the hand of God is on your life.

So as to make your life into a marvelous image, symbolic, and an example that is only and can only be likened unto the power, and the glory of God Almighty.

And when God is done with you then he will lift you up from your dirty and dusty experience so that you can look more wondrous and more beautiful than your contemporaries.
