Lucifer whom
a few theology scholars erroneous dub as an angel who turned evil, was not an
angel but a spiritual being whose character was an embodiment of purity and excellence.
On the very account of God’s favor and blessings over his life, against his
pure and excellent character, Lucifer was given an honorary privilege by God t
operate and serve God within the ranks of angels, Even though he was not an
angel originally, At this junction, its pivotal to notice, that when God’s
favor and blessings are prevalent in the life of any human entity, there’s
nothing that can never be accomplished by the human entity. However if that
entity is not careful enough it can lose all its accomplishments achieved by
and in the favor and the blessings of God over its life once it begins t think
that all its accomplishments are a result of its excellent and brilliant
character.
Lucifer lost
the favor and the blessings of God on his life because he failed to show
reverence for God at a time and in a season in God when reverencing God
required all the ranks of angels to go low as far as showing respect and honor
towards the express image of God Almighty-formed out of the earth-the lowest
element of creation.
All the
angels who went down low in respect and in honor of the express image of God
were raised in rank but for Lucifer who refused to respect and honor man –the
express image of God Almighty formed out of the earth-he was demoted in rank
and he was given a disgraceful rank entitled the Devil whose only rightful
sense of belonging is in hell. One of the divine secrets applied by God in his
sole effort to promote an individual’s lifestyle from one rank to another rank
far beyond that particular individual’s imagination is by compelling that
individual to go so far low as away of showing reverence for God. And then when
He lifts that individual up, He lifted him on a level beyond imagination, a
level whose background, ties and connections can’t help him to achieve and
accomplish.
Many a times
we have heard Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mase-the former president of Morehouse
College saying, “There is a crown on top of everyone’s head but they only need
to grow tall enough to wear it.” However what we have not heard from Dr. Benjamin
Elijah Mase is how we grow tall to wear this crown on top of our heads. A crown
that is seemingly invisible.
The only way
to grow tall and to be able to wear this crown is by prostrating with humility
and submission before the crown –giver (God), at a time and in a moment of his
divine instruction.
Sometimes,
God’s divine instruction over your life shall take you places many can’t go
because these places are unlikeable and full of despise but none the less if
you wiling to do whatever it takes to wear the crown on top of your head-a
crown of Honor, Victory, and Glory you will go down low hoping that God who
humbles the meek shall eventually exalts you in his due time and season, and
when he exalts you, you will be operating and functioning on a level high above
your own imagination and above your contemporaries and then who despised you in
the days when you took-up the oath to humble and submit yourself before and
unto God.
Lucifer lost
his Rank and his wonderfully privileged place to be in the presence and in the
sight of God, simply because of his despise towards mankind. In this very regard, let me remind everyone of
you that is being despised in life by friends, family, and even strangers
because of the way life has brought you down-low in your effort to live for
God. You are about to be raised up by the God whom you live for because his
hand has not shortened either failed to lift-up. But it was only waiting to see
whether you will endure being despised and not give-up.
And now that
you have well endured, get ready to do better than everyone who despised you.
God can’t be dares because He only is able to do all things. But if the people
who looked down on you dared him by despising you then you are about to surpass
all of them in rank.
They may
have the finest elements in life, just like Lucifer held the finest of
characters but his character would not sustain him in the presence of God upon
losing the favor and blessings of God. But you on the other hand, have got the
favor and the blessings of God functioning in your life-able to lift you up
above rest and sustain you as well. In the famous Ganda culture of Eastern
Africa, a culture whose background states that it originated from a group of
people who believed in creating and forging brotherly ties and connections
underpinned with blood and coffee covenants.
As a way of
preserving their own lives-A practice which culminated into a sense of great
pride and self-awareness within a culture whose growth and development was
enhanced by the same believe system. As already noted, this culture is one of
great pride, men and women take great pride in their own self-awareness to the
extent that they never allow themselves to associate with anything of a low and
a humble status and a background. However the lowest a Ganda-man can ever allow
himself to go is when is prostrating with his face downward in the presence of
his great king”the Kabaka” .He goes so low as to show reverence for his king
and he stays flat on the ground until his king gives word for him to rise-up.
How low can you go in your show of reverence to God Almighty the Lord of Lords
and the king of Kings? John the Baptist went as low as living in the wilderness
as he was instructed of the spirit of God.
They were no
grocery stores in the wilderness so he feed on wild honey and locusts. And
because of his reverence for God, Jesus the son of God relates and describes
him as the greatest of all prophets ever to be born of a woman and to likewise
walk across the face of the earth. It sounds ironic because once you examine
you the Baptist’s life, you will find that he lived a low-life more than all the
entire prophets prior his being. Elijah went on as far as waiting upon a raven
for his bread and to drink by a stream. There is a generation I know called and
chosen of God and the level of the fear of God Almighty imbued upon them by the
spirit of God has caused them to go so low that their families can no longer
relate with them due to their different state of mind frame.
They have
gone so low to the extent of living in the wilderness separation from the
public eye and opinion. Not of themselves but by the spirit of God Almighty.
Some of them have been called insane and invalid, they have been despised,
abused and treated inferior, but gladly the script is being flipped as this
same generation begins its era to reign in the Glory, Honor, and the victory of
their God. The God who deserves all human reverence, they will reign and their
reign in God shall be the greatest on the face of the earth, a reign never seen
of before in the annals of time, History and eternity.
